Professor James Hogg has been working for 40 years in the field of learning disabilities.  He is currently Independent Convenor of Dundee Adult Support and Protection Committee.

Isobel Allan

Isobel Allan MBE is the mother to Susan, a 29 year old lady who has Rett Syndrome. Isobel is on numerous committees at local and central government level, including Vice Chairperson of Carers Scotland. Isobel is also a person-centred counsellor and trainer. Isobel was awarded the MBE for services to Carers in Scotland in June 2005.

I have recently retired as Depute Head Teacher at Kingspark School, Dundee. I have worked in Special Education for the majority of my teaching career and have been involved with PAMIS for over twenty years, and helped facilitate the Sensitive Stories project. Through PAMIS I have attended workshops and seminars which have allowed me to gain a wider perspective and broaden my educational background.
